CURRENCY:

The Euro is the currency used in Spain and Portugal. You can purchase Euros at the banks or exchange offices, to be found in most airports, train stations and all cities. Also you can use the ATM machines.  All major credit cards are accepted at most businesses, restaurants, shops etc.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Please keep in mind that rooms are usually smaller than in America. Double rooms are usually with two twin beds.  King and Queen size beds are not the norm, although the newer and more deluxe hotels offer them.  Most hotels now offer non-smoking rooms, but as the number is small, non smoking rooms are subject to availability and cannot be confirmed.
